Big Band
of Portland
Playing Tunes (mostly) From The Swing Era
Big band music stands as a pinnacle of musical brilliance, captivating listeners with its timeless charm and powerful energy. Its intricate arrangements, blending various instruments harmoniously, create a rich and dynamic sound. The virtuosic performances and improvisational solos showcase the incredible talent of musicians. The swinging rhythms and infectious melodies induce an irresistible urge to dance and uplift spirits. Big band music is a testament to the depth and versatility of jazz, leaving an indelible mark on music history. We love it!
